We had a wonderful experience here – the staff was great. John in particular was super helpful, even taking the time to give us tips for taking care of our first big Christmas tree. We’re looking forward to coming back in the spring to get plants for our garden!

One of the best nurserys in the PNW. Great people, great plants and great local business in Des Moines, WA. They just expanded to be a full retail garden center with not just their trademark perennials and annuals but now trees, shrubs, indoor plants and gifts.

Impressive nursery with a great selection of plants, lots of Japanese maples, and helpful staff. This place has a different variety of plants than your big box stores and Carpinito Brothers. The nursery is well laid out, easy to walk as the the paths are covered with landscaping fabric. Plenty of parking too.

I really love this nursery, and am so thankful for somewhere quality to go on the south end. The plants and variety of selection are really great, I feel the prices are really reasonable considering the quality. Staff is kind and attentive too – great place all around! We get our Christmas tree here every year too, very nice selection. I was also super excited to find gardenia plants at Zenith this fall, I planted an am excitedly waiting to enjoy their first fragrant blooms the spring.

Amazing staff: very knowledgeable and kind. They were more than happy to discuss plant options with us and helped ups think through our landscaping plan. I will be back again and again. Bonus: they also best dogs ever!!!

Every spring I take a trip here, or more. I love the unusual plants they offer! They are always healthy and not what everybody else has in their garden. The staff is very helpful- suggesting plants for the correct location. Zenith also has great sales. It’s so worth the trip to go explore all the possibilities for gardening. And they offer classes periodically!

What a great find! Early in the season, but I found some amazing plants I have not seen anywhere else. Prices are really competitive Sales staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. I’ll be back in a few weeks to pick up more plants as the weather stays warmer. Can’t recommend this nursery highly enough.

Zenith was a lucky find while looking for a good local nursery near us! The staff are incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The energy in an around the nursery was inspiring and we left feeling like the universe just lined up for us. Thank you!

Absolutely fantastic nursery. Well educated staff, great selection, and a completely strange location. It’s so fun to go here. Last summer we went to a butterfly/hummingbird plant attraction class. What a blast! We have so many hummingbirds now and a new understanding on their behavior. Top place to get plants!

Emmet, John, and Lucy were all super nice, knowledge, and helpful. Came to purchase ladybugs (which they had in stock) and found an excellent selection of herbs and seeds, as well as a fruit bearing fig tree for indoors!

Great selection, friendly knowledgeable staff and fantastic prices. Start your nursery shopping here! I am helping a friend landscape their 5 acre lot. So we need a lot of plants, trees and shrubs. We have bought 3 truck and trailers worth over the last 2 weekends. We have visited just about every nursery in the Kent, Renton, Tukwila, Auburn, Federal Way area. Zenith Holland is now my favorite nursery I have found in South King County.

I have used Zenith Holland Gardens for the past 8 years for multiple residential and commercial landscaping projects. We have used them for plantings, flowers, ponds and even purchased sod through them. The owner Lyn Robinson is a class act and they have a huge selection of nursery flowers. This is the largest nursery in the South King County area and they are great. They have really expanded and have an incredible retail offering.

Love Zenith Holland Gardens! It’s always a fun to make a day out of visiting. Beautiful location close to the Sound, wonderful collection of plants (indoor and outdoor), pots and almost anything you could think of. Great selection of classes and the staff are always helpful on giving plant care tips and tricks for a novice like me!

I read that there are certain herbs that can help keep bugs away. We went to 3 places but only one place stood out to me. Sharing with anyone who would like to get help at a garden center. It made shopping quick and informative. The customer service is 5 stars, 10 out of 10, gold baby! Zenith Holland Gardens. Zenith Holland Gardens was welcoming with a hello as we got out of the car. Then we started looking and were assisted right away. Then another employee helped us because she knew a bit more about using herbs. She was full of energy, knew exactly what she was talking about. Super helpful.

Zenith Holland has a mind boggling variety of plants and bulbs. There’s something for every garden here. The staff is what makes the place really exceptional. The clerk helping me went above and beyond in the cold and rain to search out the plant I was looking for.
